The iPhone vs Droid X battle has been fun to watch and given the recent changes

Let’s find what iPhone vs Droid X is?

This is about iPhone vs Droid X. Last evening I became involved in a conversation, where I was actually a listener, in which the discussion addressed whether the iPhone or Droid X was a better phone. Interesting were not only the issues of cell phones, but also providers. Though my experience with both AT&T vs Verizon has been limited, I personally favor Verizon. iPhone vs Droid X. I do believe that the service from either AT&T or Verizon will  depend on where you live. So I took a look at his Droid X and immediately found it simple to use. His connection to the Internet was fast. Very fast. Another person had an iPhone, which I also tried. Again this phone was also easy to use and the Internet was just as fast. So does it just come down to personal preference? Or is one phone better than another? The iPhone vs Droid X.

The iPhone vs Droid X battle has been fun to watch and given the recent changes in service providers (i.e. Verizon, AT&T), it’s only gong to heat up further.  Given that I’m a Verizon customer, the new availability of the iPhone got me to thinking about the new choices available to Verizon customers.  Also, I think iPhone vs Droid X battle is more important than most people think.  My take is that eventually this battle will spill over to the desktop client and produce a far greater impact on IT than most people are imagining.

More about iPhone vs Droid X. Noting that Apple’s release schedule is more spread out than Motorola, I put together the following table of specs to see how they leapfrog each other.  Apple releases a new device each summer while Motorola has been releasing one in the Fall, Spring, and Summer.  What became apparent to me was that iPhone releases typically allow Apple to leapfrog Droid in some areas of the specs but the Droid releases tend to blow the doors off all the specs with every new Droid Motorola release (especially the Summer Motorola device releases that appear to follow quickly after Apple’s Summer release),  I don’t think Apple providing more frequent releases would help much either though since so many manufacturers are jumping on the Android bandwagon they would never be able to keep up with every manufacturer’s release schedule.

Now you know about iPhone vs Droid X. Apple went down the tubes (remember Newton, the failed Microsoft lawsuit, Quandra, Performa, QuickTake camera, Copeland, the switch from 68k to PPC processors, etc.).  Apple did not recover until 10 years later when Jobs returned.  I understand that Apple has a 3-year pipeline worth of products but even at that, I don’t think they anticipated the impact the Android OS would make on the market and some fast footwork is needed.  Borrowing a quote from Wayne Gretzky, Steve Jobs said in a 2007 keynote, “I skate to where the puck is going to be, not where it has been.”  It’s going to take vision to get them through this and without Jobs, I feel that is lacking. That’s all about iPhone vs Droid X.

That sounds like a rtepty sweet deal if it is able to come out by Christmas, but I think everyone is already guessing that early next year is much more likely. This is definitely a top choice for me for upcoming phones, especially with the DROID Pro being not what I expected.
