Debut America s Got Talent , records Voice hearing

NBC super hit a high note Tuesday with the return of America s Got Talent and voice.
Got Talent delivered 15 million viewers - the most watched debut ever - along with a 4.2 demo adults rating that is up 17 percent from the debut of last summer's Got Talent.
At 10 hours, the voice had 14.4 million viewers - the most watched episode yet - along with a 4.9 demo adults rating, up 29 percent from last week and marking its highest ranked episode in four weeks.
The records of the hearing and demo wins were against the ABC coverage of the NBA Finals, the Dallas Mavericks at Miami Heat (11.8 million euros, 5.5), which edged the NBC hit in the win, despite the night reality shows a high level. The NBA game was the highest rated game of the finals since 2004.
Got Talent NBC's performance was probably not helped by facing hell kitchen Fox and ABC's Wipeout as it did during the premiere last summer, but still... these are fantastic ratings for the summer season. Promoting the return of suspect Got Talent for Voice during May sweeps helped revive the veterans hit while Got Talent, in turn boosted the voice with its strong lead-in reality.
Between Hell and So You Think You Can Dance, Fox always gets the summer in the adult demo (and I would not be surprised if MasterChef came back strong). But Got Talent paired with the voice, the NBC network could give a run for their money this year.
