Justin Bieber will take a DNA paternity test later this month to prove he did not father a fan's baby, when he returns to the US in two weeks. and then when the tests disprove Yeater's claim, Bieber and his team will sue her. Bieber isn't planning to let Yeater's accusations go unpunished, and plans on taking her to court. if Bieber is in fact not the father, pursing legal action against Yeater would likely deter anyone else from making false accusation in the future.
"I know I'm going to be a target, but I'm never going to be a victim. It's crazy, every night after the show I've gone right from the stage right to my car, so it's crazy some people want to make up such false allegations. But to set the record straight, none of it is true," Bieber said, responding to Yeater's allegations.
Mariah Yeater, 20, claimed in a lawsuit that Bieber impregnated her in October 2010 during a 30-second sex session backstage after the singer, then 16, performed in Los Angeles. Yeater originally told an ex-boyfriend that he -- and not Bieber -- was the father of her baby, the New York Post reported last week.
Bieber, denied the allegations. He hired crisis management bigwig Matthew Hiltzik of Hiltzik Strategies to help manage the scandal. His lawyer, Howard Weitzman, has reportedly already selected a lab to conduct the DNA test. Bieber and his team think it's important to file a lawsuit against Yeater to show there are consequences when somebody trumps up phony, hurtful allegations against a celebrity.
